I haven't tested the 3 in 1 media reader, bluetooth, or the VGA out. The swipe works with PAM which requires one to identify oneself first. It's really just a status symbol thing, I think. If you're already typing your user name it's easier and faster to type your password than to move your hand and swipe your finger. In Linux, the same swipe only works after you've typed in your user name. ![]() In Windows, swiping an enrolled finger logs you in. In my estimation it wasn't worth the trouble to configure, though. However, the fingerprint reader in my T-60 worked, though it took configuration. I don't have an ultrabase or fingerprint reader so I can't comment. There is a problem with sound from the docking station. The ethernet bug seems to be fixed and it seems to work reliably Wireless seems to work reliably (with Intel cards) Can someone who is running Interpid Beta (and preferably also has a Ultrbase) pls confirm? I looked through the forum posting and want to summarize my understanding of the hardware support for this machine under Intrepid Beta.
